Different areas of massage

There are various types of massage that concentrates on different parts of the body or healing approaches. Massage is the practice of rubbing and kneading the body using the hands. During a massage, a massage therapist will apply gentle or strong pressure to the muscles and joints of the body to ease pain and tension. A massage therapist is a person trained in giving massages.

We use to think that massage is a way to pamper ourselves, but it’s much more than a momentary feel-good treatment. A massage has many important health benefits. In fact, massages can help you maintain mental, physical and emotional well being, especially when it is part of your regular wellness routine.

Here we have different areas of massage which will be worked on depending on how you feel.

1 thigh muscles (Biceps femoris Longus, Vastus Lateralis, iliotibial track, semi-tendinosus)

2 Butt joint and muscles (Gluteus medius, Gluteus maximus, Tensor fasclae latae)

3 your leg muscles, (Gastrocnemius, Soleus, Peroneus Longus), your ankle.

4 your pivot joint ( neck joint) , the Ulna and radius.

6 back bone (vertebratae)

7 first and second verterbrae (neck born)

8 shoulder joint (Ball and socket joint)
